Ulysses McNamaraUly to his familyhas just lost another job. His seventh, actually. He gives everything 100%, but his brain is going a million miles a minute and his body cant keep up with it. He believed this last position as a server in his uncles café was his final chance.
Fate, however, has plans for Uly. His newest customer has a secret, and Uly is about to become privy to it.
Brent Lockhart would rather be back home in Bear Mountain, playing with his twin five-year-old sons before they head for school. Instead, hes the CEO of Ursine Inc, in Milwaukee to decide on the future of 300 employees who could lose their jobs. At least he can help the server in the café when he gets into trouble. Brent makes the man sit and tell him whats wrong. After a brief conversation, Uly says something that shows Brent a way to save all those jobs. Then he runs.
Brent tracks the guy down, insisting that Uly should work for him. Sure, Uly helped him out, but that isnt the reason. Once upon a time someone gave Brent a chance, and he wants to return the favor.
At least thats what hes telling himself, but with each hour Uly spends with Brent and his two sons, the three bears find something they never expected. Something theyd had once, before it was taken from them when theyd lost someone precious.
A home.

Will, this is a masterpiece!
You had me crying at page three, bawling at page 7.
I see both Uly and Brent in me.
THANK YOU!
