(9,346 posts)I'm going in for a double shot on Tuesday. Did you get the geezer flu formulation?

(41,991 posts)I felt fine until around 2:00 in the afternoon yesterday. Then it was like a wave washed over me and I felt horrible.
I feel a lot better this morning.

(15,367 posts)Felt well enough to do a mile on the treadmill but couldn't go much further. The next couple days were a blur: tired, head in a fog, a general feeling of disconnect from the world around me.
Fifth time I got a Pfizer covid shot, second time in combo with the flu vaccine, never had troubles before.
I wish you all good speed.

(16,335 posts)Both shots gave me a fever, headache and chills. Its weird because usually I have no reaction to the flu shot.

(2,733 posts)A couple of weeks ago. I usually dont have much of a reaction when I get vaxxed but the afternoon after, I hit a wall. Felt so tired and chilled and had a headache. I was fine the day after. Got the RSV this past Monday and was doing fine til Tuesday afternoon. I felt awful. Headache, chills like I had a fever, my joints hurt, muscle aches and so tired. Went to bed early and felt fine the next day. Its worth it to have the protection.

(9,346 posts)with the geezer (Fluzone) flu vaccine. That's what I'm going in for on Tuesday next. I agree minor blow back is worth the protection. Blessings.
