The Kominsky Method
I just started watching this series on Netflix. Wow, what fabulous writing and acting! Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin star as two aging show-biz guys who try to keep their careers alive. It's funny and touching and did I mention the writing is exceptional?
Created by Chuck Lorre, who also created Big Bang Theory.

(1,995 posts)I binge-watched both seasons on Netflix. Looking forward to doing the same with S3. Oh, and also Kim's Convenience.

(12,962 posts)the rest of it yet. It is supposed to be a comedy. This is not funny.

(1,995 posts)It was cringeworthy. Things get better as the season progresses, but it's definitely not aging well. There's no comparison to TKM.

(34,790 posts)Watched it twice and am awaiting the next, and final (sadly I think they announced it was final) season.
It just fits together so well, every cast member and the stories just flow with so much life and humor.

However his daughter's husband's a bit witty too.

But they could have laid off the penis/prostate/sex jokes.

(16,585 posts)A few prostate jokes would have been funny, but it just went on and on until it was just too much.
Other than that, I've only gotten through one season so far and I laughed out loud at quite a few of the jokes.

(25,839 posts)It's really good. Smart writing and good acting. What more could you ask for? I do miss Alan Arkin, but it's still quite good.

(12,365 posts)If youre withdrawing from Kominsky Method. Again, good writing and Jean Smart is fantastic as an aging comedienne.
