"Queen Charlotte," #3 in the Bridgerton series
I just binged it this week. I expected a fun plot and light entertainment and gorgeous gowns and romance (like the first two Bridgerton seasons), but I was completely taken by surprise when I ended up sobbing after the last episode. The finale was so emotional, so utterly moving, so bittersweet. Who knew it could touch one's heart so deeply?
Shonda Rhimes is a genius.
