The Death of Stalin

I watched this for the third time over the weekend. It's an hilarious dark comedy based on the power play of Stalin's inner circle in the days after his death. It's very loosely based on actual events. Steve Buscemi and Jeff Tambor fans will love it.

I watched it on Hulu, but it may be on other services. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4686844/

The actor who played Stalin.

I love it when films find no-names that you would swear were award-winning!

as is every other member of the cast.
The only scenes that were difficult to watch were the ones with that monster, Beria. Sir Simon nailed it.

we have downtown. I loved it, it has that same sardonic tone Armando Iannucci does so well.

I'm reminded of someone in my corporate life who relates to every character. A professor cousin of mine who I'm close to says the same thing about the academic world. I'm guessing the same can be said about the Vatican anytime a pope dies!

Human nature is the same no matter the occupation.
