Blue Eye Samurai!
We caught up with Blue Eye Samurai over the long weekend. It is AWESOME! It's by the guy who wrote the movie "Logan" and his Japanese-American wife. The story is set in the Edo Period of Japan, about 20 years after the Empire kicked out all of the whites. There are still some hanging around. A ronin named Mizu, who has blue eyes, is seeking out the remaining white men who are trafficking in arms and women. On the other side is Akemi, the daughter of a daimyo who wants more than to be someone's wife. Voice actors include Maya Erskine, Masi Oka, and George Takei.
