May December (Netflix) - Nope. We didn't care for it at all.

Felt like it would never end, acting felt off, music was awful...yuck,

I agree 100%!

I was really looking forward to it. What a huge disappointment. It was just a bad movie.

I can't believe Rotten Tomatos has it at a 92/86%. It sucked!

2. Just as I can't trust Amazon reviews to be real, I can't trust aother rating system like Rotten Tomatoes to be real.

That includes IMDB ratings, too.

It's some esoteric crap that I just don't get. I trust the viewers scores over the critics any day.

And said it was a letdown and not to bother watching it. Too many other good things to view, so I'm skipping it.

The acting and direction were really well-measured and nuanced. I think the three leads will be Oscar nominees. As the aftermath to a sexual crime, I knew it would be disturbing and every scene has a tension that is cut short just before it becomes fatiguing. The characters are revealed as immature adults desperate for connections that they can't achieve because they can't even be honest with themselves. This is a piece of difficult, thoughtful filmmaking.
