Has anyone recently visited Cicely, on The Cusp of the New Alaskan Riviera?

I only ask because it is now streaming on prime.
Also, there is a new podcast called Northern Disclosure on YouTube.

Are there any Cicilians here on DU and miss Our Town?

at least through season 4, or maybe 5. But like all TV shows, the writers reached exhaustion, the show experienced unplanned character changes and absences. You wonder at the end of some series if it just wasn't all about cost cutting to completion.

Thanks for the heads up on YouTube. Not sure the benefits of episode revisits more than 30 years ago, but at least they get more spotlight.

It's debut over 2 summers were magical. You couldn't write it today. The Satellite Dish was the newest and biggest thing in town. Rick got hit by a satellite, Shelly and her friend Cindy had a historic fight. You couldn't believe what was said and acted in an era of innocence.

My favorite is Little Italy (season 6).

I had seen every episode dozens of times by the time season 6 came out. I knew Cicely and her citizens very well. It was such a pleasant surprise to learn about the existence of Little Italy in Cicely. Cicely, the town, or as I like to call it, Our Town, was a caricature character of its own on the show.
