Rebounding was a surprisingly good workout with an unexpected bonus!

I couldn't believe how quickly I got my heart rate up just jogging in place! I made a play list of my favorite rockin' songs & bounced for 20 minutes. I was sweating when I finished. The bonus? My hip, which has bothered me for years, felt great the rest of the day. The next morning I got out of bed with zero discomfort, something I haven't done in years! This is day six & everything still feels good & damn, you can get an awesome workout on this thing with hardly impact! Way more fun than my exercise bike! My frickin' knees are lovin' it, too! There are lots of vids if you want ideas for moves to do. Check with your doctor, of course, if you have health issues.

And the NASA study, too! LOL. I was so excited about my results I didn't add details.

AI Overview
NASA Trampoline Study: Fun Rebounding Workout
NASA studies have indicated that rebounding, or jumping on a mini-trampoline, can be a highly efficient form of exercise, potentially more effective than jogging or running for the same duration. One key finding suggests that 10 minutes of rebounding can offer similar cardiovascular benefits to 30 minutes of jogging. This efficiency is attributed to the way rebounding distributes impact across the body, reducing strain on joints while still providing a challenging workout.

They use a rebounder when they come back from space, too. Omg, all I can say is I LOVE this workout!!! It's been one month & I bounce almost every day & my hip feels so much better all the time now!! You have no idea how nice it is to go the entire day without having to take a break because of discomfort. IDK what it was about this particular exercise that was the solution to my issue, but I'm so happy!

BUT...I've seen other benefits too! I've lost an inch around my waist & my inner thighs, which have always been flabby, are starting to firm up. And this will sound weird, but my jawline has tightened up too. This has been my best exercise discovery since step aerobics.

How's your routine going?

three times a week, still hate the exercise bike, but it gets my knees ready to lift!

Took another week off, I had some kind of virus, but got right back to it.

I'm swimming laps most days at the pool too. Boy am I going to miss that once the local pool closes.
