a bittersweet victory for my baby.

so, a year ago my baby applied for ssi. she was trying to get it for her physical problems (chron's disease, and some pain problems ++), but since the docs couldn't really explain her problems, she was pretty sol.
in the meantime, she had her breakdown and is now dx'd with, among other things, ptsd. (which makes no sense to me, but there you have it.) well, now she qualifies.
it is great that she is getting it, and will help her not only get back in school but help her get some accommodations.
but it is pretty sad for all to think of her as disabled.

i am taking her to the mayo clinic in july. maybe they will have some answers as to what the hell is wrong with her. it is a big, tangled puzzle.
sigh.
