I'm worried. My close friend (almost 50 years) is 65 and

her sister reported to me that she not only doesn't remember going with me to a Billy Joel concert at Madison Square Garden in August, but said she never went.

She's had short-term memory issues but this is a new phenomenon.

I urged her sister to consult with my friend's Primary to advise and to see what can be done, if anything.

UTI’s, dehydration, sleep problems…that CAN be remedied.
Even with Alzheimer’s or other dementia problems, there are things one can do to slow the progress. Exercise and healthy diet help.

Two bouts of cancer (thyroid and uterine) with gallons of chemotherapy. Chemo Brain.
And stress and isolation.

One thing we're certain about: Not the Covid brain dementia as she hasn't had Covid.
