I was doing okay today. Didn't take my xanax. As night falls, I find myself having a feeling of dread descend on me.
My SO is thinking he had covid again. I'm feeling very anxious

(42,024 posts)For two more years. I think it adds to the insomnia and anxiety, its kind of like menopause all over again. Im very grateful it was caught in time, only lumpectomy, chemo and radiation. Ive been terrified of cancer ever since my mom died over 30 years ago.

(7,309 posts)I try to stay away from benzodiazapines because of my propensity towards addictive behavior, so I use zoloft and it helps me. It helps lift the sword of damacles feeling I get for no apparent reason.

I don't mean to be dismissive, but have found that music is really helpful along with audio books.
