Encouragement for the group here tonight

I just wanted to post my story again and hope that it encourages the group collectively to have hope.
I had been treated for major depression and anxiety for more than two decades. I had some success with my treatment; I was working, in a relationship, and stable enough not to need the behavioral health unit. Medication management and therapy improved my symptoms of depression and anxiety, although I was still depressed and anxious.

About 7 years ago, I was diagnosed with Bipolar, Type 2. I started a new medication and continued therapy. To sum it up, I'm still a work in progress. I, however, no longer consider myself depressed or anxious.

I am posting this tonight to encourage you that it may, in fact, get better. In my case, a med change, therapy, and prayer basically put me in remission. It is possible that symptoms can be better managed, and that you too may feel relief. I posted tonight to make sure everyone started the new week with a ray of hope.

Thanks for reading, and have a great week!
