I'm so tired, my living situation depends on Fl.
I'm just done, dreams of Lil and Mrs K.
I'm ok to leave.

(2,029 posts)Hang in there and reach out to your DU family. There are great people here who care and support you. Even when you feel most alone, you're not. Hugs and healing vibes to you, dear friend.

Is the kitty still aroumd? She could be a great comfort while making few demands on you when you're the most tired.
We still love you even if Florida doesn't.

(337 posts)I'm sorryy for your losses, and sometimes these bad days are just overwhelming. My coping mechanism . . . get through an hour, theen shoot for two . . .. then three. And project, "maybe this time tomorrow will be better." I figure there has got to be a reason for my almost-four-years on the planet.

(3,373 posts)My OP stated , leave, which became live.
Leave meant, I won't fight anymore when.my health fails me, I'll just let go, and leave.

(2,152 posts)It is natural for people to want to encourage others to cheer up, tomorrow could be better. I've spent much of my life loving older people and I have known many people who welcomed the end of this experience. Pain, mobility, nobody left that you know and love. You're not saying you want to kill yourself, but, when it comes to you, from today's perspective, it may be a welcome relief. Am I in the ballpark?

(6,472 posts)You worked so hard for your wife and Lil Bit. Care can wreck you, even when all the while you are grateful for the privilege of the work and sharing the love. I know.
You are valued here. Please at least keep talking to us as you can.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
