I've called 11 theorpists to try to set up apointments twice

No one has called back ---they have answering machines I leave my number but no callbacks .I don't know if this normal and i'm getting more insecure by the day -----these were referals given to me by theorpists its bad enough doesn't seem worth it tigotta pay someone to listen to me but they won't even start the process fuckit i'm useless they don't even call back can'tblame em maybe they have a life.

Do they all practice alone? Perhaps you should try a clinic with desk staff?

If you can wait a bit, one or more of them will eventually call you back. Leave more than one message, if you feel the need. It's okay to do that. In the meanwhile, I wonder whether you qualify for assistance through your state's public behavioral health agency.

Another possibility might be therapy through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Do you, or does any member of your immediate family, have an EAP? Also, some metro areas have crisis centers and/or "warm lines."
