PTSD question

I am an adult education teacher. Just starting yesterday I have a young Veteran (USMC) in my class who I believe is taking some sort of medication (his behavior is a bit odd, he sways a little but there is no alcohol smell). I really have no more info than that

Any ideas?

I am a technical person and not a life sciences person.

judgments. See if you can talk with him before or after class--maybe invite him to join you in a coffee break. I know from my experience as a tutor that some people just need some attention paid to them and they will open up.

You have a great opportunity to influence and contribute in your job so I wish you good luck.

Us veterans come down with neurological illnesses at a much higher rate than non veterans. Or at least that's what they tell me in the Desert Storm vet survey stuff they sent me.

I have MS. In public I always wear a button that says "I'm not drunk, I have MS."

If I see another person walking funny, I immediately think neurological illness...

starting with "the benefit of the doubt".

The course is very intensive, 4 weeks , 7 hours per day of lecture, text about 2300 pages, tough exam at the end.
