A question about a frying pan

We inherited a beautiful set of cookware. One pan is about 10” in diameter and is almost as deep as a small wok. It has a matching glass lid. The curious aspect is that the pan is tilted such that the handle is on the low side. To be clear, the inside of the pan is slightly angled.

Does anyone have any idea what this is specialized for? Or what it’s called?

Thank you, in advance.

This one looks like it’s flat. The one we have is angled so that the side opposite the handle is higher by about 15-degrees. It looks like it could be for a special egg dish or something where you cook on the high side and baste from the low side. It’s very curious as we’ve never seen anything like it. Thanks for your response, amerikat!

I did a google search and came up with this:

https://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images;_ylt=AwrFANApPydliFEQTEhXNyoA;_ylu=Y29sbwNiZjEEcG9zAzEEdnRpZAMEc2VjA3Nj?p=flip+pan&fr=yfp-t-s#id=19&iurl=https%3A%2F%2F&action=click

scroll down a bit to see the blue/teal handled black pan. It looks like a saute pan that allows for easy tossing.
