Sliced apple tossed with mint and lemon balm leaves, agave drizzled over the top. Toasted walnuts.

Half a blueberry bagel with cream cheese.

I transplanted several types of lettuces last night. Weeded six raised beds.

Did you devise protection for your strawberry plants?

Looks like you'll be assured of strawberries for the season!

The whirley flowers will scare them off, too, if it is windy.

Homegrown strawberries and garlic are the way to go because it's hard to get these items grown organically. If you ever read what they do to raise strawberries, you will cringe.

Another thing you might do to dissuade them from even trying is to spray garlic, Repel-It, or sprinkle cayenne at the base of the chicken wire. That will make contemplating the crime uncomfortable for them.

Thanks for the pic! You should cross-post it in gardening.

Something about garlic sprayed on your bait attracts catfish, and it really works. I will try that around my strawberry plants.
