What's for Dinner, Sat., Aug. 16, 2025

Cold Sesame Noodle Salad.

I'm using the Trader Joe noodles, which are already cooked, yay. 'Cuz it's hot here.

Veggies are carrot, cucumber, red bell pepper, spring onion.

The dressing has toasted sesame oil, soy, rice vinegar, peanut butter, honey, garlic, ginger, and chili oil.

Kombucha: blueberry ginger.

Dessert is French vanilla ice cream.

I’ve never been good at shrimp sizes but they are good sized. Delish as always.

Probably with corn on the cob, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. Choc icecream later.

I LOVE those! I keep a bottle of Szechuan sauce at work for days I can’t be arsed to scrounge up a lunch and they always satisfy. Sooooo much better than those styrofoam ramen noodles from the supermarket.

the serving size (3 packets to a box) is perfect for one person!

And the price is great, too. $2.50.

Steam-fried in evoo and veggie broth: chopped onion, red bell pepper, and minced garlic. Added sliced mushrooms, cut green beans and red pepper flakes. When done I added butter beans, cooked red lentil rotini and a dollop of Miyoko’s butter. TJ’s vegan parm on top. Cheers!🥂

w/Plum Sauce, Black Bean Chile paste, Mushroom-infused soy
sauce, served with Hot Chinese (Ka me) mustard. ( A must to
set off the sweetness of the ribs and the umami of the bean paste
and mushroom flavors.)

w/Baby Bliss potato salad.
