Got a huge thing of chicken drumsticks from a friend, and it's too hot too cook... crockpot activated!

I haven't even broken out the BBQ this year, too much trouble.

So I'm gonna try a crockpot cook and just make them all at once of I can (might have to do 2 batches).

I got some non-alcoholic beer in the back of the fridge. (Dad used to do an amazing beer-baste on BBQ.)
I'm thinking some chopped garlic, and leftover onion slices (use 'em up)
..and just some basic seasonings like rosemary, thyme, etc...

Then I can strip the meat off and save it for use through the week. Tacos, and I got a nice masala sauce in a packet, etc... I wish it was cold enough for soup! Should I bag and freeze the bones?

When it’s hot I do almost all my cooking on an outdoor table under the awning. I have an air fryer, a crockpot, a rice cooker and a hot plate on the table out there. During a heat wave I even move the toaster and coffeemaker outside.

Considering he broke into my house last week I don't want to give him any more reasons to come hang out around here!

simmered down nice and juicy, fall of the bone...

made a pkg of mushroom couscous, put some chopped carrots, zuchini, and celery in a bowl, threw over the hot chicken & couscous... the veggies were stil nice & crunchy! omg I love my cooking lmao

(my awful ex used to say I didn't know how to cook...because they liked the processed southern greasy crap... )

I got leftover couscous for tomorrow... then I might just rip it all off the bones and bag it and freezehalf for pasta etc...
