We went to Texas Roadhouse. This is the 3rd time I've eaten there. I got chicken critters, (chicken tenders), a side salad, steak fries, and a roll. I got 7 pieces of chicken. I brought home 5 pieces of chicken and half the fries. My friend couldn't eat all of her dinner, either. She brought one of her friends along, who bought her own dinner and she ate all of hers.

The food was good. At this time of day, it wasn't crowded and we didn't have to wait.

almost always order the Roadkill dish. It's 12 ounces of chopped sirloin, smothered in mushrooms, cheese and gravy. I always order on the side a Cactus Blossom (blooming onion).

The local TR has Mon-Th. early bird specials, 12 different entrees for 12.99. I didn't know about the specials, but for as much as we got, it wasn't too expensive

with a simple tomato sauce from garden tomatoes. The sauce was too watery, but the dish was OK.

Steam-fried in evoo and veggie broth: chopped onion, red bell pepper, sliced cabbage, zucchini, mushrooms and minced garlic. When done I stirred in marinara sauce I made earlier in the day, butter beans and cooked whole grain penne. Topped the dish with vegan parm. Cheers! 🥂
