Later this morning I am planning on eating leftover bean and sausage soup with a slice of Texas toast with a pot of hot tea.

and the four of us are going to spend the day going to rummage sales. Covered Bridge Festival starts tomorrow https://www.coveredbridges.com/covered-bridge-festival and people have rummage sales and flea markets all over the county. We plan to eat lunch at the Mecca Tavern in a little town (with a covered bridge) called Mecca, Indiana. Mecca is a little north of Terre Haute on route 41. Mecca Tavern is famous around here for their huge tenderloin sandwich. That's what we're having for lunch, and I'm sure we'll have to ask for a doggy bag. Here is a picture of one of their tenderloins.

We have a huge Amish population around here. I asked the bar owner, where do you get those huge tenderloins? He told me he gets his pork tenderloin off the Amish. My neighbor's have never been there before, so they're in for a surprise. I been telling them the surprise will be a life changing event. Lol

would have fed all four of us. That sandwich was only nine bucks! They gave us a steak knife to cut them into four sections. One quarter of the tenderloin fit perfectly for the one bun they give you. We had a cooler out in the car to bring our leftover tenderloin home. We had a good time today.
