What's for Dinner, Fri., Feb. 27, 2026

I'm going to the greengrocer for ...(wait for it) greens!!!

Spinach~! Lettuce!! Broccoli rabe! First time I've been out since the storm.

I will tell you all about my chef's salad when I get back.

The filling was made from vegan “beef” crumbles, brown rice, sautéed onion, green bell pepper and garlic. After making the rolls they were baked in a casserole dish with a simple tomato sauce. Also made mashed red parsley potatoes and homemade applesauce. Cheers!🥂

I had to hurry up to make some food for dinner. While the water was heating, I heated a piece of pork from yesterday and put it on a bun, ate that while the noodles and dumplings cooked. I added some frozen vegetables to the pot. When the dumplings were ready, I put them in a frying pan with a little pepper infused olive oil. I had some Korean BBQ sauce and put some on the sandwich and dipped the dumplings.

Nice little meal.
