Nix the tomato, avocado and bacon* and use cranberry pieces and walnuts. Avocado goes well on the side as do many other things. I happen to love cranberries and walnuts with poultry salads.

* could be used but I haven't tried that.

(I think pecans, but it might be walnuts) and they doctor up the mayo by adding 1T of honey and apple cider vinegar and a tiny bit of sugar.. I've made a copycat version a few times and it's yum.

What they make up here in Maine, they call it New England chicken salad and other similar things. You can find it at any deli by the pound or pay through the nose at a restaurant but it's pretty much the same everywhere. In my little town there's one grocery store with a good sized deli and I can get it there so that's my treat when I make myself go shopping, which I hate.

The ingredients I missed are probably also needed but I don;t know that so I didn't put them in there.

personally, I would skip the nuts and fruit, just use celery and maybe add some green onion

probably good with some crumbled bacon too.
