What's for Dinner, Thurs., May 28, 2026

Hamburgers, but I have to go get the rolls and also some chocolate. I tried making it through one night (last night) without chocolate and it was not a pretty sight. I was scrounging through the freezer, hoping for some chocolate somewhere, somehow.

I'll use Beyond burgers, ketchup, red onion, lettuce, and whatever rolls I get. In addition sweet potato fries. Roasted corn on the cob.

Kombucha or cola, not sure which.

To serve up a pretty slab of salmon cooked stovetop with a little butter and served with a brown stirfry sauce (sesame oil, chile oil, oyster sauce, soy sauce).

Also on the agenda are a kale salad containing bits of apple and blue cheese, and a chilled vegetable soup I just made (sweet corn, cilantro, dill, zucchini, cuke, baby spinach, garlic, a few shreds of jalapeño, turmeric, all blended in some buttermilk & corn broth.)

Enjoy the evening, everyone!
