FYI. Outdoor power equipment Zama carburetor trouble shooting and rebuilding. Where to find ethanol free gas.

Find ethanol free gas in your area. https://www.pure-gas.org/

A lot of weed whackers, chainsaws, blowers, etc run Zama carburetors. They have some good info on rebuilding and trouble shooting.

Zama has a Youtube channel that is helpful.

These guys seem to be one of the better parts houses.

Some Zama parts may be discontinued but, there after market stuff.

Some tips;
Zama carbs (all Japanese stuff) have JIS ( Japanese Industry Standard) Phillip head screws. Get yourself a JIS screwdriver. Standard #2-#3 Phillip screwdrivers do not fit these screws, you'll strip the head out.

don't let a dealer sell you standard size (Imperial system, 1/4, 3/16, 1/8) fuel hose. Most tools use metric size hose. Standard size hose is either too big or too small. If you have any hose the go through a rubber grommet like at the fuel tank, there isn't enough spit or grease to help push that hose through. You're not going to get a 1/4" hose through a 5mm hole.

Just trying to help out the next poor dumb bastard like me.
