Related: About this forumTook Cooper to the vet
She had an ear infection that wasn't resolving, so they gave her some light sedation and cleaned her up. Gave her a round of antibiotics and some antibiotic ear treatment.
She is resting comfortably on the couch now after a busy day. She's 13 years old but still acts like the first day we met 12+ years ago.
Last time I took her to the vet, I (jokingly) groused at how quickly she ran away with the vet without even looking back. This time the poor girl was scared and didn't want to go without me.
She's my baby!

(3,878 posts)Her first vet said she doesn't look like a pit bull because she has "gentle features", I haven't met a single pitbull that isn't a love sponge.
The term Animal Care and Control uses in NYC is "borough bred" or "All American dog"
