Related: About this forumThe other day, for the first time, I got some Churu chicken treats for the cats
Today I split one pack into two separate paper bowls because I wanted to be sure they each got an equal amount. Martini was all over hers but Holly just sniffed hers, looked up at me, sniffed it again and walked away. She has always been finicky. When I used to serve them Fancy Feast wet food, Holly would only eat the flavors with cheese. She had the audacity to turn her nose up at every other flavor.
So I gave Holly's share to Martini. That's the rule in my house: when one cat walks away from something, the other cat is free to take it.

(19,082 posts)I go on a tuna and sardine kick for my diet. I save the water the tuna and sardines come packed in and drizzle it all over the dry food she is not particularly fond of. She dives into it then with vim and vigor thinking I caught fresh fish just for her.
During her main meal,.. which is human's supper time ,... I set her bowl up with dry on the bottom and then mix half a can of canned stuff too. She likes the salmon canned variety,.. so I place 1/2 a can on top of the dry and mix it into the dry real good. Trying to coat all the bits of dry food pieces with the salmon juices. Then she wolf's it right down thinking she is at a gourmet cat restaurant. The rest of the day a bowl of dry is always on hand should she want a snack.
