My dear friend, I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious boy. You surrounded him with love and care, always. He will be waiting for you and Patches when you eventually get there. My babies are there to greet him, as are some of our other babies.
It hurts like hell, I know. Grieve, and know that we grieve with you. Do not be surprised if he comes to visit you.

Hugs to you, dear Walleye. You're in my thoughts.

(7,166 posts)I'm so very sorry.
I know you'll honor him in your thoughts, you'll keep him close with your memories, and your love for him will never die.
How lucky are we to be given such a wonderful burden, the care and well being of a kitty as special as ours.
He chose you and clearly chose well my friend as you've been his lifemate for sixteen amazing years now.
With each wave of pain and grief, I'm only comforted by the waves of individual memories that no one can ever take away.
Please let your tears flow, as we are never to old to feel sad, please say every word to him that comes to mind, because it's never to late to give life to your feelings, and please love him tonight, the same wonderful way you have for the last sixteen years.
Oh God Walleye, I know your pain my friend. Please don't run from it.
Love, John

(1,310 posts)We lost our snootchie bootchies in 2017 and I still get teary eyed when I think of her. We lost her little buddy Randall last year that was really hard. My hubby lame54 made this vid when we first got Randall. I watch it from time to time just to feel close to them again.

Maybe I said this here already. In our family, we call this "liberating the spirit." Tiger's spirit is now free.
