Handsome young King Arthur is now 1 year old! I'm going to dig up some old photos from when I first found him. I remember waiting a few days before trying to get any photos, because he and his siblings were actual newly born. But here he is, today, in all of his magnificence. And, yes, his ears remain pretty impressive.

Happy Birthday Arthur.

Have been meaning to ask, how are the outdoor babies doing?

(27,734 posts)It's funny because some days there's food left in the bowls. This morning there were 5 waiting for me. Scooter, Spooky, Skittish, Tabby and a grey and white one for whom I'm still deciding on a name. He/she dens across the street, somewhere.
I did see Lush, the other day, but he isn't an everyday diner, like before. Haven't seen Bruiser in quite a while, but then Skittish disappeared for a couple of months and she's now back every day.

wheelbarrow kitten Rudy has been here since last June. I need to take another picture of him and post it.

(734 posts)In fact, I know the names of all your kitties but not the names of most of my cousins.
Happy birthday Arthur!

(27,734 posts)They were 3 week old. I had been checking on them NUMEROUS times a day, and planned on waiting at least one more week, but two had bad eye infections. According to the vet, they were also underweight. He thought they were younger than 3 weeks, but since I saw them the day they were born, I could assure him of their age. So, eye drops and antibiotics for a week along with round the clock feedings.
Fortunately I learned a lot about raising such young kittens from raising Madoc and his siblings, although they were a little older.
