(27,626 posts)I have tons of baby Madoc. Gryff was 4 months old when he joined the family.

I don't know if I ever shared this VERY early photo of Madoc, letting me know EXACTLY what he thinks.

Madoc was so tiny that his grown up size looks gigantic.

(27,626 posts)Someone took good care of him and his siblings before they abandoned them on the side of the highway. And, of course, the vet could just estimate his age. I thought it pretty amazing that the date he chose as Gryff's birth date was the same as I estimated for Madoc. I guess this was just meant to be.
And I NEVER expected Madoc would get as big as he is!

(25,314 posts)Ember was like that when I got her. She came from a small litter of only 3 and was the runt. At 9 weeks, she looked more like 6 weeks. She was so tiny, but energetically running everywhere that I started shuffling around my place instead of walking because I was afraid of stepping on her.
Today she is larger than I thought possible. She weighs 9.5 pounds and is almost 24 inches from shoulder to rump. She is about 12 to 14 inches high at the shoulders.
Those are only approximate measurements because she will not stand still long enough for me to get an accurate reading. She keeps trying to play with the measuring stick.
