I had a big apple head Siamess named Merlin. We lost him to suspected liver cancer last summer. He was the best cat ever.

We used to let him out the front door (ground level), and he'd come back in via the second floor balcony. We never figured out how he got up there. Merlin the flying cat?

Just seemed a fitting name for a black cat. And he was a bit of a magician. Besides the usual feline magical abilities to disappear and reappear, he was a very talented escape artist.
