Related: About this forumI just learned that my dear pup has Valley Fever.
He had two seizures a couple weeks ago and the test results just came in. Poor little guy - he's a stinker but the sweetest little boy.

Ive only heard about valley fever in the last few years, and had no idea it could impact dogs. We live in California, and I havent heard about I anywhere else.

decades. We lived in S. California for 13 years and one of our dogs was tested for it, but was negative. What is the treatment?

(3,170 posts)8. He'll be on fluconazole - it's an antifungal.
I think people are treated with it also but at a higher dose.
