Selah city lawyer: Family could be prosecuted for chalk art

ThisIsFineHat Retweeted

Threatening to prosecute a family for “gross misdemeanor malicious mischief” for BLM chalking on the dead end street they live on is some primo assholery and I sure hope it doesn’t inspire other locals to reach for their chalk out of solidarity or spite

Chalk art was part of the rite of passage. Every kid in town took part in it. Lots of "Killroy was here" was seen. Some of us even chalked games on the school sidewalks with the schools blessing! In political season there were even political slogans chalked. Chalk is not spray paint after all.

Whenever some small town declares "We are not (name of lage liberal city here)!....I assure you it is most likely some little shithole that is not a LOT of things!
