Death by a thousand cuts

I just read IrishBubbaLiberals post about the FBI freezing the bank accounts of non profits like United Way, Habitat for Humanity and with so many other evil acts taking place simultaneously, why aren't we doing more to become the face of protest?
They only back down when confronted and we are taking these paper cuts ten at a time and wondering where the pool of blood came from.
I know it's going to be hard, painful and possibly violent but as we watch all of this happen, our country will be gone.
My timeline before it's too late was 60-90 days from inauguration day. We're halfway there and we need to take control of the news cycle.
We need to be visible, loud, non-violent, but in their face.
We've been wet nursed into hypnotized inaction by decades of individual paper cuts followed by the reminder that we're powerless and what's the use.
Where are the new 501c groups that will support grass roots protestors, you know like the right had in the early 2000s.
Where is the recognition that my issues are mine but I know that yours are just as important and to lose any of what we have will be the start of the avalanche of losses of our civil liberties, our human rights and our constitutional protections?
I came to the USA to live on July 4th, 1976. I was almost ten years old.
I was always so proud of that. (Even though I had nothing to say about it)
I got to watch America elect Jimmy Carter as president and I loved that even though I was completely ignorant to Watergate and Nixon.
I loved that honesty and character ruled the day and even at that age, I admired his humility and decency.
Habitat for F'ing Humanity. Let's do this to protect Jimmy Carter's legacy, for all the people who have been given a decent life due to the generosity of millions and never, I MEAN NEVER a whiff of scandal.
Where's the red line in the sand? I'm in tears that so many glorious institutions with a single purpose, helping others, are under assault and all we can do is post about it.
I'm guilty of the last sentence myself. I have no car, I have no money, and if I could I would go to my state capitol (Springfield Illinois)and stand in unison with all of these amazing institutions that save lives, honor lives and support better lives.
Thank you for listening and you may see me there this weekend if I can find a way.
We have to act. Please

1. This is an attempt by tRUMP's EPA to claw back monies put forth by the Biden admin. for EPA-related issues

I wanted to make sure that everyone knows why these attempts to claw back funds already distributed by the Biden admin. are being attempted. Rather confusing and I'm not sure what the legal rationale will be to justify spending under a prior administration, it smacks of being illegal, since it's like going back and clawing back spending by a prior administration such as clawing back spending by Pres. Obama for example on health care. Go figure. Here's the scoop on tRUMP's latest money grab/clawback:

Green banks use those funds to provide financing for clean technology projects around the country. Startups that have technologies that are ready to scale commercially were eligible to receive financing to make projects a reality. The funding was mostly to be used for loans, which were to be paid back and recycled for future lending. Green banks tend to have delinquency rates on par with commercial and residential portfolios held by other commercial lenders.

Citibank was selected as the financial agent to administer that money, holding it in accounts under the names of the awardees. It is also administering a separate, $6 billion Clean Communities Investment Accelerator program. The EPA’s contract with Citibank was publicly announced in April 2024. The FBI has requested that Citibank place 30-day administrative freezes on accounts held by nonprofits that were recipients of the green bank funding. It also asked the bank to freeze other nonprofit and state government agency accounts, including Habitat for Humanity, United Way, the Colorado Clean Energy Fund, and New York State Department of Taxation and Finance.

2. Am I wrong in stating

That the purpose of these actions is to see how far they can push the envelope and ultimately then to remember that there are real lives, real jobs, real projects that get all messed up with the hope that like all of Trump's abuses, people or companies will throw up their hands and say f**k it?

3. I didn't say a word about what you said. I simply added to it to clarify things as when I started to read your blurb,

I wasn't really sure where the remarks were coming from, and so I researched it and found the EPA blurb/history as to why tRUMP was clawing back the funds. That's it. I wanted others to understand it too.

For the additional context and breadth of information. I felt better informed at the time and did not mean in any way to imply anything else.
There are so many smart people here on DU and sometimes, that gets lost in the shuffle.
Thank you. I appreciate your willingness to contribute.
