Position Overview:
We are seeking organized & experienced Camp Managers for rapid deployment to oversee base camp operations at a temporary correctional or shelter-based facility in South Florida. This W2 contract role is contingent upon contract award & includes housing & meals provided on-site. The Camp Manager will ensure the safe, efficient, & orderly functioning of all support services, logistics, & camp infrastructure
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of base camp, including housing, food service, sanitation, & logistics
Manage & supervise camp support personnel & contractors
Ensure compliance with safety, health, & regulatory standards
Monitor supply levels & coordinate with vendors for restocking and deliveries
Conduct inspections & resolve operational issues promptly
Coordinate closely with medical, security, & facility staff
Maintain accurate logs, shift reports, & incident documentation
Serve as point-of-contact for administrative & operational concerns
Provide leadership, stability, & professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Assignment Details:
W2 Temporary Assignment no benefits
Housing & meals included on base no per diem or travel reimbursement
84 hours/week - 12-hour shifts, 7 days/week
Rotational Schedule: 2-3 weeks on /1 week off
Project Duration: Up to 12 months
Qualifications:
Prior experience managing field operations, remote camps, shelters, or emergency housing (required)
Background in logistics, disaster response, or facility management preferred
Strong leadership, communication, & organizational skills
Must be able to pass a background check
Physically capable of working in demanding & remote environments
Proficient in English (spoken & written)
