He has many black comedians on his show and they always talk about hanging out together Some black comedians have said that during Covid when they could not work, Joe supported them.

Do you know- Rogan’s oldest daughter, Kayla Rose, is half black.
Rogan’s wife, Ditzel, had Kayla Rose when she was with musician Kevin Coner.. Coner died. When Rogan married Ditzel he adopted Kayla Rose as a young child. He has often said that Kayla Rose was one of the people he loved best in the whole world. She is a singer. He has two other school age girls.

“ Rogan has spoken affectionately about Kayja, often referring to her as not just a daughter but a friend. Reflecting on his relationship with his eldest on the Rosie O'Donnell Show, he said, "She's an awesome kid. She's not just a daughter, she's my friend."

I don’t think racists adopt half black kids?

Joe is coming back around as he recently had Bernie on his show. In the past he was a Bernie Bro and had him on often. We can use him on our side as he has the largest podcast in the world. He - along with many top podcasters - is disgusted by the genocide. So that’s at least a positive.

I think Joe having Trump on his show helped him win - I’m not excusing Rogan for that but how can a guy who hangs around with black dudes be a racist? He’s a very close friend of Dave Chappelle - they collaborated on a joint comedy tour & have been friends for years.

African American Group

She's adopted. And as a Black woman who entered this world through a white mother - Let me put it this way. There are white people who make exceptions. As a non Black American you wouldn't understand this.

He's the type of person I've encountered who says "You aren't black like THAT" He's making an exception to his rule. I've never figured out what 'Like That' means but it's something you encounter from people who had a Black friend once in the 2nd grade.

Folks are either on our side or they aren't.

And to be on our side you have to be ALL the way in.

I'm with DL Hughley - There is NO forgiveness for Trump voters. The only reason Rogan is trying to backtrack now is because he's finding out that it is hurting him financially. Rogan is responsible for the rounding up of Brown people. Rogan is responsible for the terrorizing of Washington DC. He's as bad any other magapub. No different than Candace Owens in my book. And she's a Black woman.

So please, miss me with asking black people to lick the taint of this guy and being all huggy kissy. We aren't going to do it.

You HAVE to accept that. You HAVE to. You don't have to LIKE it. But you have to accept our hostility towards America.

It's real.

Yes, that's been known to happen.

Also, "how can a guy who hangs around with black (sic) dudes be racist?"

Easily.

Plenty of very racist people do that. They laugh and joke with their "Black friends." And then they blackball their "best friend" from joining the country club, or block his promotion, or refuse a black couple's mortgage loan application. Or promote Trump for president.

Joe Rogan’s wildly popular podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, is now an “experience” that comes with debate over the 54-year-old comedian’s past comments on a range of issues, including Covid-19 misinformation, his friendly banter with Proud Boys co-founder Gavin McInnes and his racist comments comparing a Black neighborhood to “Planet of the Apes.”

A horde of celebrities have weighed in. Some, such as musicians Neil Young and India Arie, have slammed Rogan, while comedians such as Jon Stewart and Whitney Cummings are calling for him to be shown leeway as a comedian.

Rogan is exactly who you think he is.
We can debate Rogan’s past remarks all day, but here’s the thing: Rogan is exactly who you think he is. He is the podcast host who has spewed racist comments, cried about white male victimhood and featured extreme-right guests who have a record of white nationalism and other forms of bigotry. Indeed, that’s precisely how Rogan cultivated his massive audience of primarily young, white men: with comments and commentary designed to entertain that very crowd. That rocketed him to the top of the podcast charts, which, in turn, led to a 2020 deal with Spotify reported to be worth $100 million.

Playing to his audience is why in a 2013 episode of his show Rogan shared a story about getting dropped off by a car service at a theater in a Black neighborhood to see “Planet of the Apes.” He said, “We walk into 'Planet of the Apes.' We walked into Africa, dude.” As the other comedians on Rogan’s show laughed, he continued, “We walked in the door, and there was no white people. … 'Planet of the Apes' didn’t take place in Africa.” Then, in a moment of self-awareness, he added, “That was a racist thing for me to say.”

Yes, it was. Rogan knew his story was racist, but he also knew his audience would laugh at him characterizing Black people as subhuman.

He got scared walking into a movie theater where he didn't immediately see lots of white people?!

Why is that funny? To me it sounds weak and pathetic.

I wish more Americans thought about the courage it takes to live in the United States as a Black person. How many times are they the only or one of only a few Black people in the room. How they've had to fight for a place at the table.

Imagine Carl Lewis saying, "I wish I could have made a difference but I was scared to be one of the only Black people in Congress."

This one he platforms a foaming at the mouth racist:

Theo Von Says He’s Not Racist, He’s Just Scared of Black Neighborhoods
https://www.humorism.xyz/theo-von-says-hes-not-racist-hes-just-scared-of-black-neighborhoods/

Tool of the magapubs admin:
With a bigoted routine in front of troops, Theo Von made himself a tool of the Trump administration
https://www.msnbc.com/top-stories/latest/theo-von-troops-qatar-trump-comedy-rcna207381

He talked about snorting cocaine off a baby’s back but said it was “a mixed baby” so the white powder was visible on the baby’s skin.

In this case, I find Von’s allusion to the Ku Klux Klan useful in making a broader point about how humor is used to spread hate — because the klan has historically known, just as the MAGA movement appears to know, that humor can be helpful in radicalizing others to accept one’s hateful views.

And in this case, so-called jokes appear to have been used as a kind of Trojan horse to bury bigotry deep within the psyche of those in attendance. And when you pair that with the administration’s overt attacks on diversity in the military — such as its attempted erasure of contributions from minority veterans and through its ban on diversity-related programming for current service members — it seems clear the type of person who fits Trump’s ideal for a soldier.

Kendrick Lamar reads him for filth
Andrew Schulz Reportedly Reacts To Kendrick Lamar’s “White Comedian” Bar On ‘GNX’
https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/andrew-schulz-reportedly-reacts-kendrick-182539796.html

Kendrick Lamar held nothing back on his surprise album, GNX, this past weekend, and even non-rappers caught some jabs. He addressed Andrew Schulz for a racist joke he made in the past and the comedian responded.

“Don’t let no white comedian talk about no Black women—that’s law,” the 37-year-old rapper stated on his GNX opening track “wacced out murals.”

It's not funny:

“You’ll see a guy who’s had a Black girlfriend, and all of a sudden he’s got a buzz cut, clean shape-up, tattoos,” Duncan stated. “They shave their hair because they start losing it from being so stressed, being around this Black girl that’s complaining about sh*t all the f**king time,” Schulz added. “They grow a beard because there’s more cushion when they get slapped.”
