Catching the name- Stone Mountain. I had no idea of it's existence until...

visiting a friend in Athens, GA back in '75. Only saw it from a distance. Woah! While not saying anything I did find it offensive.

Some various comments on some other issues sometime back [sorry for extreme vagueness!] was along the lines that: in Europe you don't see statues dedicated to the defeated in wars (in which ever country/ies).

Went to the web page... 'fun for families". Heh, well a whole bunch of white families.

While keeping the geological marvel that it is... erasing Lee & others off it's face would be fine by me. I suppose a looong way off.
