Got hooked on Dark Winds on Netflix and started reading the books after binging seasons one and two. I finished the third book in the series, and the library has a four week wait on the Kindle version of the fourth book. I usually read books sequentially. Should I be patient, or jump to book 5?

(30,880 posts)reflect that era. Some of the books have never been digitized and are expensive used. I will keep you in mind should I need to buy some and we could perhaps share costs.

(30,880 posts)finishes second and print on paper last. Now that I need glasses it is so much easier to increase the font size than to carry extra glasses, plus there is the clock, time left in book, dictionaries and Wikipedia look ups. I will visit that website though. Thanks.

(30,880 posts)Those were all Kindle books. Wait times were reasonable. I got book eight on paper from the library.

(30,880 posts)I probably will be patient. I am #128 in line for the latest Harlan Cobin, which they have three copies of, so I can be patient if required.
