I want to read more horror novels like House of Leaves!
I've pretty much exhausted Lovecraft's canon and am mostly done with Mark Z. Danielewski's "House of Leaves." With these books, I'm getingt a great sense of dread and cosmic mystery; it really gets under my skin, makes me paranoid to think that just around the corner of vision, there's something vast, unknowable, and if I look too fast or at the wrong time, I might just break my brain by catching a glimpse! It's very much like the Slenderman ARGs proliferating YouTube right now.
Any horror buffs out there to give me some recommendations?
