Two good recent reads are

The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamed and Tears from the Desert by Halima Bashir.

Another one that I am glad I read but am still not sure how I feel about it -- smile -- is The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery.

And one that I read back in September and absolutely loved and may have already posted is The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein.

Enjoy the winter evenings with good books!!
