Have been re-reading Ursula K. LeGuin

Just finished her EarthSea series. She is excellent! Am now enchanted with Always Coming Home -- she has created a whole culture --stories, legends, songs, poetry -- love it all.

I heard a recording of her speaking at some event, on NPR, not too long ago. She's well into her 80s and still sharp as anything.

When my boys were young I bought both of them copies of the Earthsea Trilogy - I just told them, "read this". They were both impressed, especially my youngest who has always been the dreamer of the family.

It's been a very long time since I read any of her books - I was reading them as fast as they came out in the late 60s, early 70s, and then lost track as my life went on.

It sounds like a wonderful idea to re-read her!

(edited to fix spelling error - I can't believe I wrote "uncredible"! Unconceivable! )
