Question about kindles for all of you.

I hope this is the right place to ask this.

Recently, I went to Amazon to "manage my content and devices." I deleted the titles I wanted to delete. However, the titles are still showing on my kindle.

Also, on Amazon, a good portion of what is on my kindle does not even show on the "manage my content" page.

Am I doing something wrong. My kindle is very old...essentially a first edition lol.

Any advice appreciated.

My Amazon shows me only books I either purchased from or borrowed through Amazon. That's the extent of my knowledge.

As I said, my kindle is ancient, so...

Do you do that in menu or what?

I use a Touch now because I could no longer charge the Kindle 1 battery, I just select the title and "Move to Archive" appears on a mini-menu.

Are the items on your Kindle that aren't on Amazon Content the titles you deleted?

except for library books.

I'll try your suggestions tomorrow. I guess I may have to bite the bullet and call them. To be fair, they have always been helpful.

I probably should get a new Kindle lol!

as I can. Almost everything on my device comes from Project Gutenberg. I use an editor, Calibre, to handle downloads.
