(4,486 posts)... a few of those women looked like they took some pretty hard falls. We've got an 80-pound fur-baby who's godawful strong! She's pulled me off my feet when I wasn't paying attention, and I'm 200 pounds!

(7,861 posts)And I think I was entitled, because I could have BEEN one of those in the vid! My 120lb dog decided an ebike was much more exciting than his new mistress (90lb me) while out on a walk, and took a hard right turn to go chase it... and down a steep park hill he dragged me. One ER trip later, with a broken knee, I was laid up and we only now go for short walks around the block for play dates with his best friend... also about his size. That pup's dogmom is about the same size I am, and only about 10 years younger. Yes, we should have known better. But maltese size dogs were never our cup of tea; what can I say? (sigh) The last huge dog I had (150 lb Leonburgher) was more like a service dog. I had high hopes this time around after losing my beloved Porter.
