Foyle's War

Hi,

An off-beat question but I've been watching this series lately on Netflix and I wondered if any one here who has read the Robot and Empire novels by Asimov has also watched this show?

I ask because for a while it has struck me that the character of Milner is almost R Daneel, and the actor has the right look IMHO.

And now I'm thinking even character of Foyle is very much like Bayley, perhaps a bit older and certainly not quiet the right look, although not off by much maybe. But personality and detective style not very unlike at all.
