Irony?

The more expensive and lighter the bike the heavier the lock you haul around to protect it. Is that irony?

You actually had to go to Oakland station to physically obtain your BART bike pass. In the brief ride there and back to the city on my FastPass, to my dismay the tree I locked my Schwinn to had been sawed down right there on Market St, bike and lock gone.
About 12 bicycles later, I never leave my Colnago anywhere. Ever.
