Has anyone been a member of SavvyAuthor.com?

I'm just wondering if you've had experience with them or another community like them. They offer a paid membership for premium content and then discounts on online workshops.

It seems okay. I generally don't get a lot out of writing sites. I studied in a non-degree creative-writing program during college and have a good idea how I like to approach my craft already. I read the free content for another perspective. Sometimes I get good writing exercises but I already have notebooks full. I have a small and dedicated circle of critical readers I trust already and who are a solid source of advice. It's just not for me.

So I wouldn't join, but it's not about me. It's about what you as a writer need. As far as the cost goes, it seems reasonable, I've seen in-person-programs and websites offering similar services for much-higher prices. If you join, come back and give a review; it's been my experience that the quality varies widely. $30 for year is a steal if the information, services and programs work for you.

I don't know if it would be for me either but I just wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with the site.

Thanks again.
