NYS Writers Institute summer writing workshops now open
I attended last year and it was a great experience. Just to hobnob with other people that care about and talk about writing was great. The workshops are small, 12-15 people, and very useful and congenial. It's held on the campus of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. Some of the celebs attending this year: Robert Pinsky, John McWhorter, and Joyce Carol Oates.
