Former Denver Broncos star Demaryius Thomas dies at 33

Former Denver Broncos star wide receiver Demaryius Thomas died Thursday.

He was 33.

The Broncos confirmed various media reports of Thomas' death. In a statement, the team said:

"We have lost an incredible player and a special person in Demaryius Thomas. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the Thomas family and all who are grieving this unimaginable loss."

and my heart sank. So many people who knew him speaking out to say what a wonderful human being he was. Truly giving and caring, and he had a tough start in life.
