The first time I went to a race track was in 1975.
It was at Tanforan.
I was working for $3.00/hr. and I put $2.00 on the nose of a horse named "Island Drifter".
Island Drifter was a 40-1 shot and won.
That sure made my day and I'll admit it, I love ye ol' race track!
